Description
stunning converted farm building with lovely sea views. Very cosy and warm , with underfloor heating and log burner. On a working organic farm. Only one mile from renowned Mwnt beach, near Cardigan. We have recently installed a two person hot tub on the patio area of Awel y Mor, exclusively for Awel y Mor use.
Mwnt Beach is owned by the National Trust and is famous for it's dolphin, seal , peregrine and chough sitings. We are surrounded by open farmland with sea views on two sides. Only a short walk from the new Ceredigion coast path (which is part of the all round Wales path)
Ideally situated for keen walkers, cyclists, and nature lovers of any age. A very peaceful place.
These cottages are designed for adults so unfortunately we don't take children.

“Perfect stay for a week”
Seals and dolphins can be seen onshore at only 2 km walking distance The cottage is perfect for a couple to stay for a week or more

“Ideal location”
Ideal location on a very quiet lane, wonderful views across the fields and out to sea. Nice clean and very comfortable accommodation with all the home from home facilities. Friendly owners where nothing is too much trouble. Short drive or walk to the beach. Great for Dolphin viewing. Would recommend this cottage to friends and family alike. Will return one day. Thanks

“Lovely Peaceful Place”
The views across the fields here are fantastic - the host was lovely and very welcoming and friendly. The big plus was the hot tub downside was we forgot that Mwnt Beach is closed for dogs at this time of year which made life a little tedious having to go into Aberporth to walk each day on it's lovely beach which we know really well. Very comfortable property ideal for a romantic getaway - I visited with my five year old little boy and blue merle border collie. Certainly consider it again.

“Just what we needed!”
This cottage had all that we needed for a relaxing week. We didn't have to worry about anything as basics like soap, dishwasher tablets and tea were all provided - not to mention the lovely welcome of welsh cakes, fresh flowers, eggs and milk. Jenny was extremely welcoming and helpful but, as others have said, not intrusive in any way. Despite there being another cottage and Jenny and Richard's home on the farm we never felt overheard or overlooked. It was lovely to have our own entrance and garden area and the views were stunning. It was great to be very close to Mwnt beach which is beautiful and close to many restaurants and a big supermarket but feel like you're in the middle of nowhere as it's so peaceful. We loved the balcony and there is plenty of space in the cottage. There's a lovely dining table in the kitchen, a second bedroom and plenty of living space with comfy sofas. The hot tub was very clean and plenty warm enough. Although if you're using it in the evening it would be a good idea to have a Citronella candle as there can be a few flies. We enjoyed watching the chickens, calf, sheep, dogs and horses but we were never woken up by them in the morning or anything. Jenny was also very helpful before our stay answering all of our questions about what the cottage provided plus local restaurants and directions. Thank you for a perfect week in a very relaxing home from home, we hope to return soon!
