Description
Rustic Charm on the Southern end of South Hero. Up to 4 cottages available. 3 cottages are 2 bedrooms plus a twin daybed and 1 cottage has 1 queen bed plus a double futon on the enclosed heated porch.
Weekly rentals only in July and August. 2 night minimum otherwise.

These are efficiency cottages. You need to supply your own linens/towels. For our long distance travelers, we do have linens/towels available for rent.
The Tree Tops Cottages is a small family friendly resort is located on the Southern end of South Hero on a private 7+ acre property with over 920 feet of direct frontage on Lake Champlain. Until recently, it was a family compound and select location for close friends. Originally built in the 1930's, there are only four cottages on the whole 7.5 acre property. It may be possible to rent 2, 3 or 4 cottages at the same time for a family reunion. Multiple generational families have been coming to Tree Tops Cottages for decades.
There are four privately sited cottages located at Tree Tops. Each unique cottage is restored in the rustic Vermont Camp style, and offers great lake views. This is not a luxury resort, rather a down home, friendly, relaxing place. Depending on the cottage, they will sleep between 4 to 6 people. Each cottage has a complete kitchen with range, microwave, coffee maker etc. We also have a common laundry area for all guests to use.
The gradual shale beach is weed free and is rare (for Lake Champlain) due to the fact that it is south facing, which affords all day sunshine and protection from cool northerly breezes. The "Outer Malletts Bay" lake location offers warmer and calmer water than the "Broad Lake". There is a great 70' long dock, plus a float, and our guests have the use of several small boats. Relax in the grassy shade or full sun with lake-side lounging and seating in plenty of hammocks or chaises.
