Description from owner

Description

Cedarwood lodge is a family run operation. We charge just enough to try and cover our costs, which means you get a good value holiday and we get to enjoy Pembrokeshire regularly.

The tranquil location has charmed many people over the years and is just as suitable for young children and families as it is for serious walkers, chilled out couples or seniors.

The accommodation comprises three bedrooms, a double, a twin and two bunk beds, accommodating a maximum of six. There is a fully fitted kitchen, and a dining/sitting area with TV/DVD, radio and CD player. Broadband is also available as an extra (please see the site owner for access. 2018 currently £20 per week) A south facing veranda spans the front of the lodge with room enough to eat out (garden table and chairs provided), with uninterrupted views over the valley.

Don't just take our word for it though. National Geographic rated Pembrokeshire's coastline as the second best coastal destination in the world after Tutukaka in New Zealand. A brisk 7 minute walk will get you to the coastal path with a truly spectacular view of St.Brides Bay, or alternatively, a leisurely walk along a wooded valley leading from the lodge and following a small brook brings you out onto the expansive sandy beach at Broad Haven with its village shop, pubs and essential seaside supplies.

Getting around

The area is great for walking with some of the most stunning views of landscapes and seascapes. If you wish to go further afield then a car is essential. Pembroke dock and Fishguard have ferries to Ireland. Boat trips are possible from a few locations but check local information as this changes frequently. Wythybush Airfield can do flying tours, but again this is variable and you should contact them directly.

“Perfect week in a lovely place”

Reviewed 17 Jul 2022

Cabin was clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the big fridge/freezer on such a hot week. We’ve been to Timber Hill many times but it still surprises me how beautiful a place it is.
