Description
If you like a comfortable, large villa with all its conveniences, set in a quiet place near nature, this is the place for you! Walking distance to historical buildings, nature, and great scenery.
A large family or even two families sharing would be very comfortable in the villa and the price is very attractive.
The villa is located in a tranquil valley just outside the Sorede village, on the foothills of the Pyrenees. Enjoy the quiet evenings with sounds from a distant river and the forest nightlife.
You will need a car during your stay at the village with its restaurants and shops is about 3km away and the beach is a further 15 minutes away.
To villa Le Châtaignier there is an extension underneath consisting of an apartment. This is private and this is also where I live. The two sections of the dwelling, the apartment, and the villa, are totally separated to allow full privacy. Please let me know if you any further questions about this before making your booking.
The Property
Le Châtaignier, a house built in Catalan style situated in a tranquil valley. A detached 4 bedroom villa with stunning views. With 120 sqm this is a spacious holiday villa for 8 persons.
The house is seated in a valley at 170 metres altitude and 13 km (8 miles) from the beach. Plenty of opportunities for walks.
Outside Areas
The Terrace - The front garden is paved and has a seating area for 8 people. There is also a hammock and a number of sunbeds. The charcoal BBQ secures that outdoor summer lunch and dinner.

Ground floor
The Entrance hall - Access to all ground floor rooms and stairs to the upper part of the house
The Lounge - Tastefully decorated L shaped room that goes in white and soft yellow. Two large sofas and two armchairs seat 8 in comfort. A decorative open fire at the end of the room. There is a Satellite TV, DVD and stereo. A bookshelf holds a number of books and DVDs.
The Dining area - The second part of the living room holds the dining area. A large oak table (can be reduced in size) and oak chairs seats 8. There is also a baby high chair. From this area, you also have access to the balcony.
The Balcony - Mountain view from the second balcony on the back of the house. This area is normally used for breakfast seating area.
The Kitchen - Fully equipped with 4-ring gas stove, micro oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, coffee maker and much more
Bedroom 1 - The first bedroom is an entry level bedroom and has a patio door leading out to the front terrace. It is decorated in peach and white colours. It has a built-in wardrobe large enough for two people sharing.
Bedroom 2 - Café au lait and white colours decorate this entrance level bedroom with a view over the valley. It has a large built-in wardrobe.
Bath and shower room - Well sized bathroom that also has a washing machine. There are a number of shelves available where you can store your things. A hairdryer is installed for your comfort.
WC - Tastefully decorated in the same nuances as the rest of the house.
First floor
