Description

The Carriage House at Twelve Oaks is a private and peaceful retreat in the California Gold Country.

This upstairs studio apartment has a comfortable “pillow top” Queen bed, a Daybed which can be made up as 2 twin beds, a sofa, Smart TV and DVD player.

For your entertainment, there is Free Wi-Fi, a library of books, magazines, games and complimentary movie DVD's to enjoy during your stay.

The kitchen is complete with refrigerator, 4 burner range with oven, micro-wave, toaster oven, coffee maker, cookware, blender, dishes and utensils. The dining table seats 4.

The bath has a tub with shower and there is a large closet/dressing room with drawers and space for hanging clothes. There is also an iron and ironing board.

Outside amenities include a patio area with fish pond, gas barbecue, table, chairs and benches, gazebo and free parking.

The Carriage House is not suitable for young children, but we welcome children over 12.

Have a barbecue, relax in your private gazebo, watch the deer, enjoy the quiet atmosphere and the dazzling display of stars at night – it's a great place to watch meteor showers!

Getting around

YARTS busses run between Mariposa and Yosemite several times a day, you can drive to Mariposa and take the bus if you want a relaxing ride through the river canyon into Yosemite Valley.

Interaction with guest

We enjoy meeting our guests in person to show them the Carriage House and give them the key. We are on site and available if you need anything, but we are not close enough to bother you when you want privacy. We love this area and are happy to give you ideas and advice for things to see and do while in the Mariposa/Yosemite area.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Donna (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
