Two level, Nantucket style chic home located directly on the sand on what is essentially a private beach (there is no public access to our beach like other beaches in Malibu, so no crowds, just other owners, tenants and their dogs). Upper deck has a built in bench, 2 Adirondack chairs, and a stainless steel gas BBQ. Lower deck has a 15 foot long built in bench with cushions, a large dining table which seats 10, a six person hot tub, heated shower and floating daybed. Relax and watch the sunset on the two lifeguard chairs situated on the lower deck. There are stairs connecting the upper and lower decks and you have direct access to the beach from our own private stairs.

When you walk into the first door off PCH there is a courtyard so the entry into the house isn't right off of the street. The main/upper level consists of the kitchen, den with sectional couch, dining room, and bunk area with oversized bunk beds and TVs for each, and a full bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to make a meal, including pots and pans, mixing bowls, baking sheets, serving platters and bowls, a blender, regular and Keurig coffee makers, toaster oven, tea kettle, mixer, tupperware, and much more. There is a wall AC/heat unit in the den area but is rarely used as the house gets great air flow when you open the sliders and kitchen door.

On the downstairs level are the master and guest bedrooms. Both have queen beds with high quality linens and pillows (both king and standard), and large flat screen Smart TV's (great for streaming shows on Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc). The master bedroom area has an AC/heat wall unit, an en suite bathroom with tub and shower (with great water pressure!) and a large walk-in closet. The master bedroom also has doors that lead right out onto the lower deck for quick beach and jacuzzi access. The guest bedroom has new windows with shutters that look out to the lower deck/beach. (Please note the the guest bedroom does not have its own bathroom, so guests must either use the master bathroom or the upstairs bathroom.) The walk in laundry room is also on the lower level. Plenty of beach towels are provided for guest use and are located in the laundry room.

House is equipped with a 4-Zone Sonos music system which allows you to play music in all areas of the house, including the upper and lower decks and the courtyard.

The house comes stocked with shampoo/conditioner/soap for both bathrooms, a hairdryer, laundry detergent, dish soap, trash bags, ziplocs/saran/tin foil, and many pantry items such as a variety of spices, oils, vinegars, sugar/splenda, and some tea/coffee. Beach chairs, foam surfboards, boogie boards, and some sand toys are provided. Many board games for the family to enjoy.

** Please note, this house is located on a wet/dry beach. What that means is during low tides, there is beach to walk and play on, and you can explore the tide pools right in front. During high tide (particularly "high" high tides), however, the water does usually come up the house, which limits your access to the beach. Also, during times of high surf, the beach can become rocky as the sand is washed away (it always comes back but whether it takes 2 days or 2 weeks is unpredictable). The times for high and low tides vary every day but are predictable and can be seen on a tide chart. We cannot guarantee the surf and beach conditions/access at anytime so please keep this in mind when booking, and check the tide charts when planning you trip! * If you have a dog and it's high tide, you can take him/her out front on PCH to go to the bathroom or the nearby park off Las Flores just up the street.

We must receive valid identification (e.g. valid drivers license or passport) of all guests prior to arrival. Any renters using credit cards to pay for bookings will be charged any and all associated fees for such payments. The names on the credit card must match the name on the contract and the name on the identification.
House instructions/rules will be sent to guests a few days before check in. No keys are used as we have keyless entry locks.
We do not rent out for events and major parties.
