Bridge cabin is a spacious studio atmosphere with 1 queen sized bed & a fold out futon. Full bath with tub/shower combination. Firm maximum of either 3 adults or 2 adults/2 kids, no animals. Perfect for your next family vacation or romantic couples getaway! You will not find another rental in this area that will provide you the getaway experience we offer here.

Getting around

Kishauwau's Starved Rock Area Cabins is off the beaten path so plan on having your travel arranged. You almost need to come in a vehicle as most of the cab companies are going to charge a minimum of at least $35 to take you one way to even the close by destinations.

Interaction with guest

I (Terisa) or my niece Brittany are the people you will speak with here. My husband and I are the owners & live right here on property with our family. Kishauwau is family built and has been in operation for over 30 yrs. We are here for our guests needs but leave you alone once you check in to give you that well deserved getaway you've been looking for. It depends on when you check in as to whether you speak with me or not. If I am not personally checking you in, everything will be pre-arranged so that your check in goes smooth. We are always happy to give insights on area dining and activities.

House rules

Here at Kishauwau Cabins we offer the perfect social distancing getaway. Any couple must both be a minimum age of 21 years old to book and if you are looking to do a friends gathering, everyone in the group must be a minimum age of 28 yrs. old to book with us. We do not allow prom or sprint break rentals or bachelor/bachelorette party rentals. No outdoor music and we ask that everyone respect the noise level for their neighbors. “For a premium, relaxing cabin STAY HERE!”

Clean cabins and well equipt kitchens. Quite near two wonderful parks. Great for a family reunion. We celebrated our 33rd Wilson Family Reunion and will be back!

Definitely let us know if ever a problem while you are here and we will gladly try to make it right. Some of our cabins have tankless water heaters, not the best mix with well water. It sounds like the shower head needed to be cleared of debri which just takes a couple minutes to fix. It sounds like you enjoyed the rest of your stay which we are thankful for. How do damage deposits work?
