Self checkin and enhanced cleaning...With WiFi Briardene, rustic self-catering rental with garden close to all amenities.
With WiFi our charming rustic cottage is situated in Pateley Bridge, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and provides a great base for the spa (you have got to try it) town of Harrogate and the Dales. It is situated in a small quiet hamlet, where you can walk from the door out onto the hills or to local bakers and butchers providing local produce, and pubs/restaurants to suit all pockets.
The living room with leather furniture has a wood burning stove, ideal for cosy winter evenings. The cottage has Wi-Fi. The cottage garden has a fantastic view beyond the Nidderdale show ground and has outdoor furniture for dining during those sunny evenings. The modern fully equipped kitchen with range cooker and granite worktop will allow you to exercise the Jamie Oliver within.
There are two double (not suitable for children under 6 yrs] bedrooms (one with ensuite) and one bedroom with one single bed and a pull out bed (care space snug with both beds up) and also a family bathroom with bath/shower.
Our cottage combines romance, the great outdoors, fantastic sight seeing and the opportunity to unwind in friendly surroundings.

“Perfect”
I've no idea why some other people are so pinickity in their reviews. This cottage was gorgeous. Such a quaint home in beautiful surroundings. The bedrooms are good sizes, the bed we slept in was ridiculously comfortable. It was really helpful having two bathrooms (one up and one down) as well. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and it helped having the extra fridge under the stairs. We loved the log burner and there was plenty of wood in the basket (and extra in the storage unit outside the back door). The hosts were really friendly and helpful. No concerns.

Response from the owner Dear valued guest, We are sorry we caused you anxiety. It is true we don’t take one night bookings but on this occasion one slipped through. Unfortunately we have had the odd bad experience with groups of people but not only those in their 20s. It was unfortunate too that our elderly neighbour, who is moving in a couple of weeks to a bungalow had had a bad turn and we were anxious that a group of people would make a lot of noise. I hope that you respect that we do have concern for our neighbours. Occasionally we pass by the cottage on the first evening but events meant we were not able to on this occasion as planned. As for the 10 am check out, that is on our booking conditions for all guests and something we need to look into as something is obviously saying 11am on the website by mistake. We don’t turn up at the door at 10am, we usually give the guests a little longer. We would like to say that you were perfect guests and looked after our cottage and so thank you for that, we did send a message thanking you after your stay. We hope that we can welcome you back in the future and that you are able to feel more relaxed. Kind regards The owners

Response from the owner Dear guest, We are very sorry to read your comments. We do try very hard with our cottage and try to improve all the time. Just recently we replaced the TV with a smart TV and double glazed the dining room after a comment it was cold. We have never even thought of supplying DVDs that would suit everyone. We often have guests who would rather go out and explore. We are limited by size under the stairs where the mops are kept. We would also prefer our guests to contact us with a problem rather than read through trip advisor after the stay! Having travelled extensively and stay always in self catering accommodation we do feel we put a lot of effort in our cottage and try to ensure it is well equipped and our cottage is good value in a superb location. Regarding signs. When we don’t put instructions, we can have complaints and when we do we can also have complaints so I am afraid we can’t win on that one. We hope however that you managed to have a enjoyable and comfortable stay and we will take your comments on board to try and improve further. The owners.

We do not maintain to provide towels (apart from overseas guests) or a dishwasher and would hope that if these things are a priority for guests that they book a property offering those things that are important to them. The glass In the windows of bathrooms are clear as you say but we do have blinds on the windows.
