Description from owner

Description

This cosy 3* cottage is located in a private cul-de-sac near the centre of the pretty town of Crickhowell, in the Usk Valley. The famous Bear Hotel is about 100 metres away. We have private parking and it takes about a minute to walk to the shops. The location is great for walkers and cyclists (both off and on-road) with some serious hill climbs locally. Secure bike storage. Private yard for motorcycles or your dog. Visit Wales Walkers and Cyclists accreditation.

If you are interested in a more relaxed break there are many attractions to visit within a reasonable distance and lots of short country walks you can start from the cottage. A comprehensive choice of maps and guidebooks are provided. The owners live nearby and are always available to advise.

The Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons are on the doorstep for those needing more challenging walks with a good choice of pubs, cafes and restaurants to refuel the visitor after a hard day in the hills.

PLEASE IGNORE NIGHTLY PRICES, WE DON'T DO SINGLE NIGHTS but cannot put zero in the box! Please note we only take whole week bookings in peak season, even if you're staying for five days.
