Description
A comfortable well appointed cottage situated in open countryside 2 miles outside Bonar Bridge. Achue sits on a working crott well away from other houses or any noise but is still close to shops, hotels and cafes. It is an excellent centre for walking, cycling or touring the Northern Highlands. And is well placed to explore the North Coast 500 (NC500). Or just relax in the centrally heated, triple glazed sun lounge and watch the stunning panorama unfold in front of you, possibly with a glass of whisky from one of the nearby distilleries.
There are golf courses (including the famous Royal Dornoch) near by plus fishing, mountain bike trails and walks of all grades. Inverness is 1 hour to the south, John o Groats and the north coast 2 hours north, the hills of the west are less than 2 hours away.
Dornoch (12 miles) has excellent beaches and some good restaurants.
There is an enclosed garden, parking is off road.
