Dear Travellers and Amigos of the Yucatan,
are you looking for a back to the roots adventure?
Then you would love Casa Maya Lodge, Eagle Nest over Coconut Palmtrees on the Beach of Puerto del Cuyo. Nestled among the palms on the 3rd floor in a typical Mayan Palpapa style, the Casa Maya Lodge (22m2 living space) with a palm roof, shower , kitchenette and private beachfront terrace (20m2) for 2 guests. We recommend that Lodge with fabulous views of the sea and the beach for adventurers and people who appreciate the simple and natural Life ala Robinson Crusoe.
Since many of the guests wanted to experience how the local Mayan Indians live, some have already been staying in the so-called 'Palapas', 'Cabanas' or 'Lodges' in various places in Yucatan or Central America and had fun doing it. And we thought, why not offer something like that on the 2nd floor, special and truly authentic, our guests? Thus, our Casa Maya Lodge has been launched. It is not for families with young children (rent the groundfloor or penthouse condo instead), but rather recommended for couples and singles.
We also made a very attractive 360 degree virtual tour for you to be able to 'walk thru' our homes and Apartments,the beaches of El Cuyo, the Fishing Port and the Lagoon

Puerto del Cuyo is a small, unspoiled Beachtown filled with Cocunut palm trees near Holbox, and is today the only coastal town in the Yucatan which is dotted with palm trees. At all other beaches in the Yucatan, the palm trees were exterminated by a plague some years ago, and were sadly not reforested . Not so in Puerto del Cuyo, here you can still find the Caribbean Feeling mixed with mexican flair that used to be found in every Yucatan Beach town.

Response from the manager Dear Travellers, its true that we have 5 Condos in El Cuyo, some are on the beach and some are second row, some arre larger some are smaller, with different rates. All of them are advertised with different Agencies. It happens, that guests are thinking, they rented Hacienda del Cuyo rather than Hacienda Antigua, but the booking confirmation from the Agency is always very clear on what was booked, paid and where the guest will stay at. Sometimes we do have guests that like to upgrade into the larger Beachfront unit. Sometimes we can fulfill the wish, sometimes we cant. This particular Guest and her friend sent out a total of 14 (!!) rental requests total with different dates,names and agencies for several of our units. i got confused myself and made a mistake when writing down the final dates and units the ladies rented. I was even able to upgrade them at no charge, and my wife talked to them while in El Cuyo. It all ended in a 1 Star Review. That means for futuro guests, NO more free upgrades. We kindly ask all guests that they read all advertisements of all of our units before finally booking, in order to make sure you get what you wanted.We also recommend to always contact us first and así us questions before booking, and we actually font like the instant booking that guests can use.

Ich denke, ihr habt Euch fuer die Leser ganz gut dargestellt und dem ist eigentlich nichts hinzuzufuegen. Nur dies: Gast hatte Protese am Bein und konnte nur schwer die Treppe in den 2 Stock bewaeltigen, warum er die Rustikale Lodge vorher trotzdem wissentlich gebucht hat bleibt sein Geheimnis. Als wir nach seinem heftigen Draengen und Drohungen ihm leider keine andere freie Fewo anbieten konnten, entschloss er sich zu diesem Kommentar.
