We are proud that our Coral Sands Studio has been awarded the TripAdvisor TRAVELLERS CHOICE AWARD for this year as well as their CERTIFICATES of EXCELLENCE for previous years based on the number of our very satisfied guests.
Imagine waking up in the morning to the soothing sound of the gentle lapping of waves on the beach. Only seconds later from your Studio/ apartment, you could be enjoying the first swim of the day in the incredibly blue & calm sea of Hoopers Bay - undisturbed by any other people & only a Green Turtle or two to notice you.
Later, take out one of our kayaks to further explore the bay or spend some time snokelling.
Too much activity? Then just relax & unwind on one of our beach loungers or sea-floats until time comes for a cool drink.
Sheer bliss in the Bahamas!!
Hoopers Bay is regarded as the best beach to stay on in Exuma and the only beach with resident GREEN TURTLES. on a 1/2 mile ( 1KM ) of smooth sand which gently slopes into the safe, calm sea. Protected from the prevailing winds which can make other beaches uncomfortable, the water is ideal for swimming, kayaking, snorkeling and boating. Our guests have loungers, chairs, kayaks and other beach toys to enjoy whilst coconut trees on the beach edge provide shade when required.
The Studio has a King sized bed (or 2 x Twin beds) with space for a child rollaway bed suitable for up to 7 years of age, bathroom with tub and shower, WC and hand basin, kitchenette with 2 hot rings, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven etc. It is equipped with AC and ceiling fan, cable TV, radio/CD player and FREE, unlimited high speed ,fibre opticWiFi.allows for work,gaming or watching videos. An outside, sea facing deck has table and chairs for relaxing or enjoying el-fresco meals.
Hoopers Bay is conveniently located on Exuma and only 10 minutes ( 5 miles) from Georgetown airport and 5 minutes (3 miles) from Georgetown. Additionally there is a good range of local shops for groceries, butchers, deli, pharmacy and liquor with a 5 minute easy walk from Coral Sands.
As we live on the island we will arrange the short taxi transfer from the airport where our dedicated taxi driver will greet you and bring you to Coral Sands. We will welcome you and show you around & can be available during your stay to advise or help arrange various activities.
