Description

Enjoy yourself at our mountain retreat in a beautiful Snowmass Village Colorado! Galliwest was rebuilt and doubled in size in 2010. Located just above the Elk Camp gondola mid-station, it has ski-in ski-out access. Summer guests use some of the country's best mountain biking and hiking trails! It now has 4 master bedrooms with king beds, ensuite baths, and HD flat screen TVs, plus 2 smaller bedrooms. and 5.5 baths.. It is on Woodrun I, the first and most prestigious of the on-the-mountain private housing areas in Snowmass. Snowmass is the largest and most popular family mountain in the 4-mountain Aspen complex.

An elevator in the stairwell rises from the heated 2-car garage and mudroom/ski storage area on the first floor to the 3 upper floors.The living-dining area on the 4th floor opens onto large front and back decks. A large fully equipped kitchen invites multi-cook meal preparation and communicates with a dining area that has a long table seating 12-14.

There is a large living space that is separated into a comfortable fireplace area (perfect for relaxing after long days exploring and skiing) and a TV room. High ceilings and top to bottom windows make it a spectacular living space.

On the 2nd and 3rd floors, there are 4 large front bedrooms, with king sized beds, flat screen televisions, en suite bathrooms, and sweeping valley views. Two of them open onto balconies or decks. Two have 2-person jacuzzis in the bath. Two have large walk-in showers. All of the furniture, fixtures, bedding, beds, appliances, flooring, etc. is new. Two smaller back bedrooms, one with two twin beds, one with a queen and a twin, are most often occupied by children or young adults and have beautiful serene views into the forest behind the home.

There is a large office area on the 3rd floor, with two long desks, wifi, a computer and printer/scanner/fax.

There is a fully equipped laundry area on the 2nd floor, with a laundry chute down from the 3rd flr.

A hot tub offers great views and relaxation!

The unit is ideally suited for extended multi-generation families, like our own, or for 2-3 families that enjoy vacationing together, or four-five couples.
