Description
Islay Cottages comprise four two bedded and a third three bedded cottage set in a small estate on Islay's west coast.
Each cottage has a comfortably furnished sitting room with a dining area and kitchen. Upstairs there is a double and twin bedroom. There is Wifi, together with Satellite TV, DVD Player and a large selection of books and games are available.
The kitchen has everything you would expect: toaster, cooker, microwave and fridge; extra freezer space is available in the Laundry Room. Linen is supplied and towels are available on request, a cot and high chair are available, also there is a Laundry and Drying room for guests use.
The cottages are popular with both families and those interested in birds, wild life and walking, several rarely seen birds make Kilchoman their home and the proximity of the beach and great beach walks make it an ideal place to get away from it all. For those interested in whisky, Kilchoman is minutes away and access to the Islands' other distilleries is simple. Quiet and secluded, it is a perfect place for a Hebridean holiday.
All cottages are non-smoking and unfortunately we are not able to accept any pets

“Idyllic”
Well equipped cottage which was spotlessly clean. Washing machine and drying facilities available. (Washing up liquid, kitchen towel, kitchen foil etc included - this is fab!) Electricity all included in booking price. Fire was set on our arrival - but we didn’t need this. The cottage is very remote - quite a drive to get there, but very close to one of the best beaches in Islay. (Big waves. Not suitable for swimming, but great for the kids to play in) Wi-Fi was good for most of week, but the signal did go down on the island (not just the cottage). Satellite tv, games and books all available. If you are looking for a relaxing chill out week, this is totally suitable. We will definitely return!

“Excellent Location”
Lovely cottage, really well equipped, stunning location. Can highly recommend for a fabulous stay on Islay. WiFi didn’t work, but 4G picked up close to cottage. Will definitely return!
