“Good accommodation. Lovely setting.”

Reviewed 13 Sep 2017

The cottage was nicer than we expected from the pictures. Location is remote but only 4 miles out of brecon. OK when you get used to the single track lane. Lovely countryside around the farm. Beds all very comfortable. We were a group of 6 friends and the cottage worked out very well for us. We enjoyed the pool table!

“Lovely remote location but still close to a lovely town”

Reviewed 9 Mar 2015

A large group of us came for a long weekend of mountain biking. We had a wonderful stay and will hopefully be returning in summer. There was plenty of space for everyone and clean, well looked after. Very helpful owners who made everything easy. We visited bike park wales, Afan and Cwmcarn for cycling which were all within an hours drive. Very remote location with lovely countryside.

“Friendly farm cottage in beautiful countryside”

Reviewed 1 Sep 2014

Our families were made to feel very welcome by June and Graham. The facilities were perfect for our week long stay, with everything we needed! Fishing in the lake (safely fenced away if you have very young children) and the friendly sheepdogs were a great hit with the kids. Conveniently located for Brecon and countryside walks in the Beacons, we'll be back!

“Perfect setting on working farm.”

Reviewed 12 May 2014

We have been coming hearer for 20 years and still find new places to explore. June and Graham are excellent hosts and the cottages are well equipped. If you enjoy wildlife you will appreciate the setting with red kites, buzzards, owls, foxes and lots more. The Brecon Beacons are within easy reach and there are good walks from the doorstep too. It's an idyllic place to stay with views of the Black Mountains and the Beacons. Highly recommended!

“Fabulous!”

Reviewed 22 Apr 2014

We stayed here with a group of 10 of us for the weekend. We selected this location as there were good reviews and it was possible to accommodate all of us by using two cottages. There was fishing on-site and was ideally locate close by to activities, such as paintballing. The owner was very helpful and even arranged for a taxi for us (as we were unable to pronounce the cottage name!). The accommodation was as promised and was clean and tidy - as you'd expect/hope. I would recommend the cottages to groups or families. We definitely plan on returning.

“Lovely peaceful location for family group”

Reviewed 12 Jan 2014

We've been here twice with all ages from 1 to 60 plus and had a great stay both times. The cottage is warm, cosy and well-equipped and the owners very friendly and welcoming. Really lovely peaceful location but close enough to Brecon for shopping, and loads to do in the area.

“ideal country retreat”

Reviewed 24 Jun 2013

we have just returned from a fabulous weekend in cottage 1,the cottage has a quirky room set up which adds to its charm and has wonderful views and a pretty and generous size garden, the pool room was great for the children(and big kids) when the weather was not so good.I Was a little concerned that the living/dining/kitchen area might be a little small but as a group of 4 adults and 3 9 year old boys we were perfectly comfortable. The owners June and Graham were welcoming and helpful and if you try the fishing find graham for some tips
