Description
A warm Welsh welcome awaits in this cosy stone cottage with a private hot tub on our working family farm in the heart of mid Wales. A light and airy lounge/kitchen/diner with oak flooring. Freeview TV, DVD. Fully equipped kitchen, oak dining table and chairs. Bedroom with double sized iron bedstead. Fully tiled shower room with WC and WHB. Cottage is always warm and cosy, heating and hot water provided by an energy efficient wood chip biomass boiler. The cottage is located 12 miles inland of Aberystwyth, 20 minutes drive offering the best of both coast and country. Great opportunities for walking in nearby Hafod and Devil's Bridge, bird watching and cycling from the doorstep. Fishing nearby on the Trisant lakes - peace and quiet away from the madding crowds. An ideal base to explore this little known area of Wales. The county of Ceredigion borders the sea to the west, known fondly as Cardigan Bay. The coastal path offers walkers stunning views of the sea and inland green hills and mountains of quite spectacular diversity. Quaint market towns of Tregaron, Lampeter and Newcastle Emlyn and seaside towns and villages of Aberaeron, New Quay and Borth to explore.

“Wonderful cottage”

“Perfect Dog Friendly Cottage in a stunning location”
If you want stunning Welsh Scenery and to stay in a really well equipped Welsh Stable cottage, that was spotlessly clean, and to be genuinely ",welcomed' by warm hosts, then this is a marvellous place to stay. The dogs were welcomed, and walks were available from our door. Our two Cairn Terriers would recommend any of the Hafod Estate walks ( there are many to choose from) , and a visit to Devils Bridge should not be missed. Would love to return really soon, and for longer next time.

“A perfect location for relaxation in rural Wales”
A real get away from it all location,plenty of views away from the crowds but within reach.A warm welcome and superb Cottages on a farm location,this was our second visit and we will be going back for a third at least.Ideal for walkers or just for a stroll and dogs are welcome.
