This charming, detached stone cottage, set in a hamlet close to the North Yorkshire market town of Helmsley, can sleep two people in one double bedroom.Peg's Cottage, a delightful, detached, stone cottage, is set solely over the ground floor in a little hamlet just two miles from the market town of Helmsley in North Yorkshire. Perfect for a romantic break away, the cottage can sleep two people in one double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. There is a kitchen and a sitting room with a cosy gas fire and a dining area where you can enjoy romantic, candlelit meals. Outside, a garden and patio with furniture are perfect for enjoying the summer sun, and there is off road parking for two cars. Peg's Cottage is a wonderful base a couples getaway exploring North Yorkshire, all year round!

Electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, radio, WiFi (not suitable for streaming), selection of books and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lawned garden with patio and furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 1.5 miles.

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: On the southern edge of the North York Moors National Park is the prestigious market town of Helmsley. Lying in a sheltered corner of Upper Ryedale, this lovely settlement boasts a spacious market square surrounded by houses, hotels and shops as well as a 12th Century castle. English Heritage's Rievaulx Abbey is close by too and there is a multitude of excellent walks in the near vicinity, the most well known of these - the Cleveland Way, starting in the village itself. The region's capital of York is less than an hour's drive to the south, whilst Scarborough and the east coast just over an hour. The famous steam railway line at Pickering is just a thirty minute drive away.

We aim to provide an outstanding level of service by communicating honestly with our customers and owners to ensure that we resolve all our investigations satisfactorily. We also record all of our calls for training and monitoring purposes. I am sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the resolution we provided to you. We would always advise that upon finding an issue in the property, to let us or the owner know as soon as possible so this can be resolved for you. If you chose to leave the property before we are able to assist, this prevents the property owner from having the opportunity to rectify this issues for you at the time of your stay.
