IMPORTANT:

Due to COVID-19 many soft furnishings / games that can not be disinfected between guests have been removed.

Our usual cancellation policy will not stand if you need to alter your stay during COVID. Please contact us to ask if you have any questions regarding this.

Driftwood is a bright spacious house in the heart of Rhosneigr. The house offers great living space with open plan kitchen living diner with large separate sitting room with additional childrens' play / reading area.

Just a few minutes stroll from both beaches (less than 300 steps to Rhosneigr beach, and less than 400 to Broad beach!), well rated restaurants, bars and local shops, Driftwood is ideally situated for families and couples alike.

The detached house has a sociable large kitchen diner to help prevent cooks getting lonely, with a large 3 seater sofa and ample room for 6 at the spacious table. This room overlooks the large secure sunny garden which also has a decked and a patio area, so you can watch over the children playing in the garden with the games provided.

To the front of the house there a two adjoining sitting rooms. The larger one offers a sofa, love seat, armchair and a large padded stool with television, dvd player and unlimited wifi. The additional area off this also has a love seat, padded stool, wicker chair and a dvd television along with a selection of books, board games and dvds.

Entry into the house is via a large utility with ample room for storing wellies, sandals and sandy beach gear. There is a tall fridge freezer for overflow items from the kitchen fridge, along with a washing machine.

The kitchen has a dishwasher and a nespresso coffee machine, so bring your nespresso capsules!

The large downstairs bedroom has a king size bed and looks out over the rear garden.

The downstairs bathroom has a shower over the bath along with loo and wash basin and storage.

Upstairs there are two further bedrooms, one large twin room with adult mattresses and the other with a large king size bed and a view of the sea - so you can plan your day from bed in the morning!

All bedrooms have drawers and wardrobes.

The upstairs bathroom has a shower cubicle, loo and wash basin.

Outside there is off road parking for 2 cars to the front, and a large sunny fully enclosed garden to the rear. The garden has side access, and if required we can arrange for you to have access to the large shed to store bikes etc during your stay. We've provided a selection of outdoor games which are suitable for adults and children - perfect for those sunny warm evenings whilst the children are in bed.

Bedding is included (thin duvets will be on the beds, but if you prefer thicker, higher tog, these are available too). We're afraid towels are not provided, except for in the kitchen and hand towels in the bathrooms. We can also provide items for small children such as high chairs and cots; email to ask us.

We're sorry but as our house is newly decorated, and we have carpets in the downstairs bedroom / sitting rooms we can't allow dogs currently. However, do ask if you have more unusual pets; not sure if anyone takes rabbits on holiday, but we may be able to provide an outdoor hutch for their stay!

Please note we do not allow smoking or candles either within the house or the garden area.

If you'd like to stay for less than a week, or to start on a different day (out of peak holiday season) then do get in touch as we will try to accommodate you - we are more flexible than the options are!

Please note there are 2 big steps into the house. If you feel this is not manageable for you due to severe mobility issues, please contact us before booking.

There is a large sliding patio door with only a small step down, which can be used for buggies / easier access, however, the downstairs bathroom is a shower over a bath, which will require a step over.

“Lovely position”

This was first time staying at driftwood. Its in a perfect position easy access to market Street and the beach both a 5 mins walk away. Plus added bonus of a lovely friendly pub close by. The house neighbours were very friendly it was lovely to chat with a Welsh local. There is ample of restaurants close by although a couple had no chefs. The oyster catcher is about 20 mins away. We had a lovely meal there. Definitely worth a visit. The house is lovely nicely furnished. The only downside was in our opinion the cleaning could of been better. Few areas were of the house were not cleanest it could of been. Its a shame as I thought the cleaner had let the owners down. I know its been tough during covid I imagine it can't be easy for the owners to check on things. Rhosneigr is a lovely place worth a visit.
