This log cabin sits on 10 acres in the Chiricahua Mountain foothills in SE AZ at a 5000' elevation. It is located in Cochise County and is 12 miles from the Chiricahua National Monument. We are located 40 minutes from Wilcox, 1 hour from Bisbee, 1 hour from Tombstone, 1 hour from Benson, 2 hours from Tucson, and 4 hours from Phoenix.

This cabin offers a rustic elegance and is fully furnished and equipped. It is surrounded by mature oak, ash, sycamore trees and mesquites. A seasonal creek borders the back of the property and there is an abundance of wildlife and birds. The cabin is remote but has neighbors and/or animals on each side to include an award winning winery. There are many historic sites and attractions within a 100 mile radius. This is a perfect getaway for nature lovers, birders, artists and writers. If you are looking for solitude, beautiful night skies, breathtaking sunsets and sunrises, and fresh air, come for a stay! Our goal is to offer guests an opportunity to enjoy this slice of paradise while encouraging them to "unplug" and enjoy all the environment has to offer.

The cabin has a living room with a pellet stove, master bedroom with an electric fireplace, a full bath, a stackable washer and dryer, and a kitchen. The upstairs loft provides guests with a place to read, write, meditate, rest, or study.

There is a chain link fence enclosing the back of the cabin and provides an enclosure for both pets and guests. The detached garage and hot tub on the back porch are not included in the rental.

While there is no caretaker on site, we owners are nearby and available by phone. In this environment it is wise to be mindful of the wildlife and other desert creatures that inhabit this area. Pets should be on a leash or with the owner when outside of the chain link fence.

We hope to keep things "simple" while being willing to individualize your stay to the best of our ability.

No hunting. All doors to the cabin shall be locked when leaving the property. Pellet stove must be turned off when unattended.
