This first floor apartment in Whitby sleeps two people.What a View at Quayside Apartment is a first floor apartment in a Grade II listed building, overlooking the harbour in Whitby. This apartment sleeps two people and has one double bedroom, a bathroom and an open plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area. Parking is available opposite the apartment in a car park, whilst alternative parking can be found on the roadside nearby on a first come, first served basis. What a View at Quayside Apartment is an excellent base for a couple, with shops, pubs and restaurants all within a stone's throw and the wonderful North York Moors within easy reach.

Amenities: Gas central heating. Gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio. Free WiFi Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Unrestricted roadside parking 100 yards up the road on a first come, first served basis. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub less than 1 min walk. Beach 5 mins walk. Note: Some road noise can be heard in the apartment. Note: Apartment accessed via five external steps and a flight of internal stairs

Region: The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Town: The popular fishing town of Whitby is situated at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire. The town offers winding streets, hidden alleys, a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.

Response from the manager Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to learn that your experience at your chosen property did not live up to your expectations. I have looked into this matter and I do feel that the description of the property accurately summarises the available amenities. However, if you are going away with us in the future we are always on hand to answer any questions you may have. After your stay at the property the owner made us aware of damage caused during your stay and we had an obligation to follow this up. I apologise if this experience has upset you. However, I do note that we did not pursue you for payment towards this. I do hope this experience will not deter you from going away with Sykes Cottages in the future.
