Description

Crofters cottage is a luxury 5 star cottage on the outskirts of Tobermory yet only 10 minutes walk from seafront, shops and restaurants.

It has been built to a very high standard with spacious accommodation. The master bedroom has en-suite shower room and the twin room is opposite the main bathroom. There is central heating and a log burner for cosy evenings, first basket of logs supplied then £5 per bag. The cottage enjoys a quiet location in the grounds of Baliscate House, a nineteenth century residence. Ideal for 2 couples or a family.

“Weekend trip to Tobermory and Iona”

We both had a magical time at Iona and Calgary bay Weather was a bit wet but we were lucky enough to get sunny spells. Cottage was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need iron..fridge, freezer washer dryer like a home from home .. very modern and close by to shops and restaurants. We even saw an otter! Wildlife was amazing and stunning scenic views. We will definitely go back. Highly recommend

Response from the manager We are glad you enjoyed your stay at Crofters Cottage. We apologise for the lack of dishwasher tablets this was an oversight on the housekeepers part. As this is self catering we only supply a starter amount of bin bags, toilet rolls etc. We do give guests contact information for us and would gladly have rectified your issues immediately had we been contacted. We have never had a complaint with regards to our mattresses and they are of a very high standard, unfortunately we are unable to meet everyone's personal taste with regards to firmness or softness etc. We look forward to welcoming you back should you wish to stay with us again.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
