Very Quiet and Serene Location - Yet in Downtown Mentone!! Home is located within the city limits of Mentone, AL and is a 3/4 mile walk from downtown and 1 mile from the Brow overlooking Valleyhead, Fort Payne, etc.

Upscale cabin living perfect for a weekend retreat or a longer stay. All the comforts of home but nestled away in a secluded area of downtown Mentone.

The Home has 2 Fireplaces, both wood burning - 1 Indoor in Great Room, 1 outdoors on 350 square foot screened in porch. Located on a dead-end street and just across the street from Little River. The home offers a 2 1/2 story vaulted ceiling Great Room, kitchen nook and kitchen with an island, open living floor plan and French pine walls and hardwood floors. Contemporary colored walls have been integrated in the bathrooms and kitchen area, and tile flooring has been laid in the downstairs bathroom floors. The Great Room also features a stacked-stone fireplace!

Huge 350 sq. ft. fully screened in porch on back of home features a stacked stone fireplace, ceiling fans and a firebox blower fan unit to push the heat of the fire onto the porch during those cold Spring, Fall and Winter nights. Tree filled lot adds for an additional sense of privacy. Exceptionally comfortable and cozy place to rent and getaway for the weekend for couples, retreats, families, get togethers or just a chance to get some R&R away from the everyday stresses of life.

The cabin is located 5 miles from Desoto Falls and Desoto State Park where you can take in hiking and scenic views and 17 miles from Cloudland Canyon State park in Georgia. Home is also located right across Little River from Skyline Summer Camp and within minutes of all local Summer and Day camps in the Mentone area. Great place to rent for parents who have children staying at the local camps.

Amenities include both a stacked stone indoor and outdoor fireplace, 2 1/2 story great room, kitchen nook and kitchen island, 51” LED Flat Panel TV with Direct TV package, WIFI, stereo, 1 bedroom on the main floor and 1 upstairs which has a nice aft view overlooking the great room and fireplace below.

Home sits on a private, fully wooded 3/4 acre lot which allows for privacy and a very peaceful, relaxing stay.

The reason we named our home, the Mentone "Rest Easy", is founded on the principle that when you book the home for your well deserved trip away from the everyday stresses of life, you have the entire home to yourself, no interaction with either the Owner or Property Manager for the home unless of course you have an inquiry or need assistance with something. In essence, you get the access code to the home and it is yours to use and enjoy during your entire stay. Our goal is to provide our guests with the most relaxing and restful stay possible so they leave with a sense of peace and serenity. This is only possible if we limit interactions with our guests and allow then to fully enjoy use of the home during their stay.

House rules

We offer a pet friendly home and welcome our guests to bring their “family friends” with them during their stay. Prior written request must be submitted as part of your inquiry or booking and approval granted before family friends can accompany you to the home.

If you would like to bring your family friend with you (we can only allow up to a maximum of 2 dogs), we do require a one-time, non-refundable pet fee of $35 to cover for additional cleaning of the home or $50 (two pets).

How do damage deposits work?
