“Builth Wells Antiques Fair”

Reviewed 2 May 2023

A great base for the Builth Wells Antiques fair. A lovely welcoming, warm well equipped Lodge. It was great to come home from a long day at the fair to flop ,glass of wine and feel relaxed very quickly. The owner was extremely helpful in fixing the TV . The lodge was spotless . Set in lovely grounds with a river running through it. Just be ware of the " jobs worth " Warden and keep to the 5 miles per hour signs!! I am returning in September and this will be my base every fair in the future.

“Absolutely perfect.”

Reviewed 10 Aug 2021

I really wanted to write a review for this wonderful place. We stayed here from the 6th -9th of August. On Arrival the property was very clean, well equipped and with everything you could need,, the grounds are absolutely stunning!!! and we absolutely loved being down by the river everyday. whilst visiting Wales we travelled to Elan valley one of the days and to the four waterfalls another day ( well worth it) we fell in love with the area and I will be booking again. The property owner is very helpful and responded quickly to any questions I had ( before travel) no issues with property whatsoever.

“Lodge in builth wells”

Reviewed 4 Aug 2021

Lovely accommodation in a location that's perfect for visiting mid wales & brecon beacons. Theres a co op and all other shops you may need . Accommodation is very well equipped with everything you need for self catering, including tea towels , washing up liquid etc, very easy to communicate with the owner if there was any problems (which there wasnt) Very quiet site, with river at bottom of park, my boys loved that. Also lovely walks along river for couple of hours. Only thing I would personally change would be to remove the carpet from the toilet/shower area in the accommodation. Lovely few days away in a lovely lodge

“Perfect”

Reviewed 16 May 2021

We have just returned from a lovely break at this lodge. Firstly, the lodge is super cosy, well equipped and spotlessly clean. It has everything you need to holiday comfortably. Steve, the owner gave some good advice prior to the holiday which came in handy! Secondly, the park is so peaceful and quiet, the rivers are beautiful and there is a handy field that you can take your dogs on. A walk over the swing bridge takes you to the grounds of Caer Beris Manor which are stunning and there’s a river way walk which takes you to Builth wells. The the little break was enjoyed by all and we hope to return in the future! Thank you!
