Description
Situated in the village of Belvianes et Cavirac on the main D117 road heading towards Perpignan through the Pierre-Lys Gorge. The River Aude runs behind the property separated by a path. Belvianes is just under one hour away from Carcassonne and Perpignan airports and just over one hour to the mediterranean beaches and entrance to Spain. The nearest ski resort of Camurac is approximately 1/2hr away by car.The nearby town of Quillan is approx 3km away and has many restaurants, bars and twice weekly markets plus a lido and tennis courts. In the summer months Quillan provides free entertainment most weekends and also a night market on Thursday evenings. There are two nearby swimming lakes, Puivert and Montbel.The area is ideal for walkers, ramblers, cyclists and fishermen or anyone requiring a relaxing holiday within easy reach of the beach.We have 1/4 acre of land with free parking onsite and a secure storage area for motorbikes, fishing tackle etc.
The apartment is on the ground floor of the house and has it's own separate entrance. It has a view of the swimming pool and also the mountains. The first bedroom is suitable for 2 adults and 2 children with a double bed and bunk bed. The bedroom has a wardrobe, bedside table, set of drawers, fan and hairdryer. The second bedroom contains a super king size bed, set of drawers, bedside tables and a built-in wardrobe.
The bathroom has a large shower, sink, toilet and extractor fan.
There is a kitchen with all necessary appliances and also a lounge/dining room with table and chairs, comfy sofa and chair. The lounge leads onto a private terrace through patio doors. The terrace has a table and chairs and there is a rotary dryer.
Use of the swimming pool. Linen & towels are provided, just bring a towel for swimming.
Please note that this is a self catering unit. No facilities for children under 5.
