Description
This 1100 square foot 1840's Creole Cottage is located in the heart of the Marigny Triangle, only 3 blocks from the French Quarter and Bourbon St. and only 1 block to Frenchman St. filled with fantastic music clubs (jazz and others) and great restaurants.

Enter the home into the living room with sofa (sleeper), chaise lounge and 2 comfy arm chairs, enjoy some entertainment on the 32' flat screen TV w DVD player and cable TV subscription along with an iPod dock w CD player if you wish to enjoy your own tunes.
Living room is open to the kitchen area with amazing updated eat in kitchen with custom cabinets marble counter tops and a unique repurposed soda shop counter to sit/dine at for up to 8 people The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances including 6 burner gas stove, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, etc.. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your culinary needs during your vacation whether you are just looking to make a quick breakfast or if you are serving dinner for eight!
Behind the kitchen is a full 4 pc bathroom (including tub and shower) with a beautiful reclaimed organ base custom made into the vanity, features slate tiles in bathtub and tumbled marble tile flooring.
Through the living room's exposed pocket doors you will enter the second bedroom. This bedroom features an antique art deco styled armoire, QUEEN sized bed w linens, 32” flat screen TV w cable TV and iPod docking clock radio.
Either through the doorway of the second bedroom or entering off the kitchen is the master bedroom and bathroom. Master bedroom features a QUEEN sized iron sleigh bed with linens and full double closet to hang clothes and tuck away your luggage! A 32” flat panel TV including cable TV and an iPod dock/clock radio to enjoy.
The master bathroom is a full 4 piece including full bathtub and shower, featuring marble tile in the bathtub and slate tile floor. Washer and dryer are on site for you to use!
A lovely second floor deck is also available for use during your stay!
House features 12 foot high ceilings, heart pine wood floors in living areas and tile floor bathrooms, lots of windows with tons of natural lighting, and lovingly refinished with an eclectic combination of new and salvaged materials gives this cottage a very comfortable feel.
The home is great for families and groups of all lifestyles. The neighborhood is friendly and accommodating to all, host to many local bars and restaurants for all tastes and styles. The Marigny, in the opinion of many, has become the more bohemian extension of the French Quarter, increasingly becoming the neighborhood of choice for writers, painters, musicians, street entertainers and artists of all sorts.The home is non-smoking, but smoking is permitted outside on patio or on the front stoop.

There is no smoking in the house, but you are welcome to smoke on the upper deck or on the front stoop outside.
Small pets are welcome (with a small pet damage deposit) but please note that there isn't a yard at the house so your pet will need to be walked for toilet times.
The house is great for relaxing and close to all the hot spots we ask that guests party in the hot spots and chill at the house.

Very well kept property. Location is fantastic. Would definitely stay here again. About a 5 minute uber ride to the heart of Bourbon street.

Response from the owner Thanks for staying with us... Buffa's is a great little spot with lots on the menu and always has great live local entertainment. It gets missed alot but is a good spot to grab a bit (reasonally priced) and catch some local music. Come stay with us anytime :)

“Great NOLA Bungalow!”
This is a comfy bungalow located in the Marigny area. It was only a few blocks from Bourbon St and the French Quarter and was the perfect getaway from all the usual tourist places :) It was so nice to be able to relax in a house instead of a cramped hotel room! Liz is a gracious host and was very responsive to all my questions before and during our stay. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen is great, and the bathrooms are newly remodeled. Everything you need is in the house. Quiet and safe neighborhood and there is a new streetcar line being put in which will make travel even more convenient! And having keyless entry is a big plus! We would definitely stay here again on another trip to Nola :)

We definitely have an eclectic place :) and are just so in love with the neighbourhood and location! Of course we gave the green light for your deposit to be refunded the system says it can take several days before it re appears on your credit card! Please come stay with us again... as you saw the streetcar (much more fun than taking just a regular 'ol bus!)is coming (late 2016) just 1/2 block from the house - which will make getting around the entire city even easier!
