Charming converted Tweed Merchant's in the heart of the picturesque village of Tarbert, Fasgadh Studio combines cosy comfort with a convenient location. Optional painting facilities allow guests to get their creative juices flowing, should they wish. The owner's contemporary landscape paintings and Harris Tweed furnishings add a touch of authentic style to this bright, light filled property.

On your doorstep is the new Isle of Harris Distillery and the largest retail collection of Harris Tweed products available.

The cottage is a short stroll to Hotels, cafe's and bars and a range of stores and souvenir shops.

The gorgeous beaches of our west coast, the Bays of Harris with its quirky galleries and stunning views across to Skye and the majestic North Harris hills are all within a 15 minute drive.

“Ideal location, lovely space”

The accommodation is the perfect size for a couple, light and airy and extremely well kept. Well located for exploring the Island and a short walk from two hotels in Tarbert for eating out. Although the Harbour Bistro in Scalpay is not to be missed and well worth the short drive. Christina the owner was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again

“Bright, spacious, all the facilities and a fab location for your adventures”

Right in the middle of Tarbert, quite literally a couple of minutes walk from the ferry terminal and across the road from the Distillery and Harris Tweed shops, however it's not on the main thoroughfare and so, quiet. The living area has a double height ceiling and very bright and airy with a wood burning stove and a sofa bed which converts into a large (and comfy) double bed. The full size (and with every appliance needed) kitchen and bathroom are under the large double bedroom on the mezzanine. A perfect location for all your Outer Hebrides adventures - making it easy to reach out and into Harris and Lewis. Loved my week long stay - it would have been perfect if there was a garden.
