Description
Located in the pretty Yorkshire Dales village of Ingleton, close to the Waterfalls Walk, cascading rivers in beautiful ancient woodland.
Ingleton is close to the quaint market towns of Kirkby Lonsdale, Settle & Hawes.is situated in the scenic Three Peaks area of the Yorkshire Dales which is near the stunning Ribblehead Viaduct on the Settle to Carlisle Railway trip and within easy reach of the Lake District (40 mins).
The cottage is in a central but peaceful location in the village, in a quiet cul-de-sac with no passing traffic. Private off-road parking by the front door.
Ingleton village offers a variety of shops, cafes, pubs as well as a seasonal heated open air swimming pool.
3 bedrooms, double, twin & single.
It is personally managed & cared for by the local owners.
The cottage is warm & cosy in winter with full gas central heating; and has French windows & a back patio garden for warmer weather
It offers free WiFi.
Secure storage & facilities for bikes and other outdoor gear.
The local area has excellent walking, mountain biking, cycling, climbing, caving, fishing, golfing, and pottery course activities.
Bookings are normally Saturday to Saturday in peak season but we are flexible at other times for both weeks and short breaks.
20% discount offered for couples Oct to Mar excl. school hols.
Individual night prices are only accurate if you book for a full week. For short breaks they are not accurate as it depends on the number of nights you stay, please do get in touch to get actual prices.

“Excellent location, home from home”
Fantastic cottage in a perfect location for walking and cycling be it road or trail. Ingleton is a beautiful village with a swimming pool, waterfall walk, caves {short drive}, shops and take-away's and a couple of pubs. Ingleborough is a fantastic peak to conquer with the Fell Trail starting just on the outskirts of the village and fantastic views all the way up. Acorn Cottage is very comfortable and homely and well equipped, perfect for a family with lots of toys and games,dvd's and parking for 2 cars. Jenny was very welcoming and pointed out some local beauty spots. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Yorkshire and thoroughly recommend Acorn Cottage

“Lovely cottage - great holiday break”
A lovely place to stay. Well equipped and comfortable. Warm and cosy. Well placed for all amenities. Parking for 2 cars. Well equipped kitchen - a real home from home. Highly recommended.
