Description from owner

Description

A tasteful barn-conversion, created from a stone building dating back to the seventeenth century. A wealth of charm awaits you, original beams, low ceilings(!), a log-burning stove, full central heating, tasteful decor and soft furnishings. A real home-from-home.

The relaxing lounge is very comfortably & tastefully furnished and has a charming wood-burning stove that will warm even the coldest of evenings. A radio/CD player, TV, DVD-player, Video-player, numerous books of all varieties, and a good choice of board games are provided for your leisure and entertainment. WiFi is also available for those with laptop computers.

The open-plan kitchen/dining area is well equipped to make catering during your holiday as easy as possible. There are an electric oven and hob, fridge with small freezer compartment, a microwave oven, toaster and kettle as standard equipment.

A shower room and toilet is also located on the ground floor.

A charming spiral staircase leads to the two bedrooms; one double and one twin. Warm and comfortable - affording a perfect restful sleep to weary guests after an exhilarating day’s riding!

We provide all bed linen, towels, logs for the fire. We also have a brand new laundry room for communal use.

Please note that access to Gilfach Farm is down (and up) a rather steep track, thus may not be suitable for particularly low-slung vehicles! The uneven nature of the terrain around Gilfach, and the spiral staircase within the Cottage, may present a difficulty to those with restricted mobility. Should you have any concerns regarding these matters, please contact us.
