Bernini apartment is a unique example of architectural and interior design located opposite the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in the Dorsoduro District
Located in the artistic triangle between the Zattere waterfront, the Accademia Bridge and the monumental Basilica della Salute, this apartment is ideal for discerning art lovers. Many connoisseurs of Venice and influential artists have homes in this area as it is picturesque, culturally interesting and quiet. Besides the nearby Peggy Guggenheim Gallery, other landmarks in the neighborhood include the Accademia Gallery, Punta della Dogana, the François Pinault Foundation and other world famous landmarks.
The Bernini is a very bright, first floor apartment overlooking a lovely canal. It has been newly restored with high-end materials and furnishings and completely decorated to the exacting taste of the landlord who loves to spend his own holidays in Venice here. The privileged guests will find an immaculate apartment and not surprisingly they are requested very kindly to take great care of it!
The apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large combined living-dining space and a very modern kitchen. The living room has a comfortable sofa, some Danish mid-20th century chairs and a rustic table. The designer kitchen is stunning and very functional. On the main level there is a cozy double bedroom with a walk-in wardrobe and a luxurious en-suite bathroom. A second semi-private bedroom with only 1.5 meters clearance is located up a staircase in the loft space. A second elegant designer bathroom with shower is located off the living room.
The smart layout of the Bernini apartment optimizes the 60 square meter space especially by the addition of the steel, wood and glass mezzanine providing a cozy relaxing area and the spare bedroom. The furniture is ‘industrial-vintage” and Scandinavian. The use of bright neutral colors on the parquet flooring, antique brick walls and wooden beamed ceilings in combination with colorful and playful interior details appeals especially to contemporary art lovers.
The amenities include air-conditioning in every room, Wi-Fi, a washing machine, dishwasher, electric stove, fridge with freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee maker and other appliances.
The Bernini apartment is ideal for a couple and for short stays it can host up to four people. Keeping in mind the limits of the upstairs bedroom and open staircase, Bernini is not recommended for children.

Response from the manager Dear Rosa, thank you for publishing your feedback on Trip Advisor as a result of our not availability to make you a refund requested via mail - for no reason at all. The apartment is not noisy nor uncomfortable. I have personally checked with the guests who staid after you and they were thrilled about the place (which we rent for very long indeed). Yes there is an IKEA mattress (we use them often as they are of excellent quality) and the problems you mention are: one light bulb missing in one of the two bathrooms and one blind got stuck during your stay but it really did not seam important to you so we have wrongfully assumed that you would have preferred if having fixed after your departure. You did not let us intend that you wished immediate reaction. You rather contacted us after your departure saying that you want a refund... Furthermore, the price is 200 euro per night which for a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with canal view in Dorsoduro, of this high standard is truly not expensive. I wish you a beautiful festive season and all the best. But believe me, it's not nice to threat with negative reviews to get money back - for no reason really....
