Description

Idyllcottage is located in the Idyllwild Historic District in the heart of Idyllwild, California between the village and Humber park. Walk across the street to Cafe Aroma Bistro and only 250 feet from Strawberry Creek.

Idyllcottage is a new addition to our vacation rentals. We own and operate Idyllcreek A-Frame Vacation Cabin (Idyllwild, CA) and the Historic C.J. Howe Building Vacation Loft (Willamette Valley, OR) and have for the past 10 years. We are excited to introduce Idyllcottage to the family.

House rules

Weekends require a 2 night minimum, holiday and event weekends are 3-4 night minimum.

Pet Fee - $15 / day - Other - "Spoiled Dog" Fee

Extra person - $25/day (over 4 adults)

Please ask about children (Loft not suitable for small children, but we do have a baby gate to block off access to the steps).

Please note the cabin has no “cable tv” (we cut that cord…) however the Roku has apps for any channel you might want. These apps live stream what you would normally find on cable television.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I make changes to my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Kelly & Joey (the owner) a message.

If Kelly & Joey (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
