This delightful detached cottage is located in the village of Painscastle and can sleep six people in four bedrooms.Gatehouse is a detached cottage in the village of Painscastle just four miles from Hay-on-Wye. The cottage sleeps six people and has one king-size double bedroom, one double and two single together with family bathroom and ground floor shower room. Also in the cottage are a kitchen with breakfast area, dining area with seating and snug area with woodburner. There is also a second sitting room with woodburner. Outside is off road parking for four cars and an enclosed garden with patio, hot tub, furniture and BBQ. Situated only three miles from the England/Wales border, Gatehouse is a lovely family cottage and ideal to explore this lovely part of the country.
Amenities: Oil central heating with woodburners. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, and DVD. WIFI can be intermittent Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburners inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Off road parking for 4 cars. Front gravelled garden. Enclosed lawned garden with patio, furniture and BBQ. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Extra dogs, a charge of £20/dog applies. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 4.5 miles, pub 2 mins walk. Please note check in time for this property is 4pm and check out 10am due to hot tub change over.

Standing only three miles from the England/Wales border, the village boasts a charming real ale inn serving good food, and is surrounded by scenic countryside.
