Description from owner

Description

Seconds from the beach, with magnificent sand, sea and mountain views, Borth Esgob is in a perfect location, and its layout is ideal for more than one family to share.

At the end of a private road, next to the Anglesey coastal path and just above a secluded beach, the house is an excellent base from which to enjoy the ever increasing activities of Anglesey and North Wales.

Another advantage of Rhoscolyn is that it is only about 35 minutes drive from Snowdon, Zipworld, etc. but the weather is usually better and the coastline is beautiful.

Borth Esgob underwent extensive modernisation in 2017, with new kitchen and bathrooms, windows, re-wiring, etc., but still retains its relaxing charm.

A summerhouse and deck overlooking the headland and Snowdonia provides a stunning dining and socialising space.

A mooring is also available in the bay.

“Idyllic Home in an idyllic location”

Reviewed 9 Jul 2022

Enjoyed a weeks stay here and from the moment we entered Borth Esgob we knew we were in for a treat. The house has everything you need but on top of this the views in every direction are unbeatable. Easy access to the beach where we enjoyed Kayaking and Seal spotting. Amazing sunset views to finish off the days. We found it hard to leave and we will be back.

“Beautiful property & perfect location”

Reviewed 10 Apr 2022

We had a wonderful week at Borth Esgob. The property is lovely and the location is stunning with panoramic views and a beach within a minutes walk. 'The Deck' (an outdoor garden pod with outdoor seating and large BBQ) was a great recent addition to the property which is brilliant throughout due to recent refurbishment. Special mention to Sally H the owner who has successfully located my wife's glasses and is posting them to us very helpfully! The place is so lovely we are considering a return visit soon, a sentiment which I notice is not dissimilar from many of the other reviews we have read. We are all taking away some very happy memories and are very thankful for the time we've had, in particular our children, who have been shell and sea creature hunting on and off all week.

Borth Esgob - This was an absolutely excellent property. Finished to a very high standard and with a very homely feel. We had a fabulous 4-day break thanks to the quality and facilities. We will definitely be returning.

“Seaside holiday”

Reviewed 19 Sep 2021

Really special cottage overlooking Rhoscolyn bay and a few minutes down to the shore. We loved kayaking, swimming, beach combing and sailing in and around the bay. The coastal path goes right past the cottage. There is no need to get back in the car, though we did have an outing to South stack lighthouse which is very dramatic and worth the steps. White eagle pub is friendly and does great food. Very peaceful get away from it all location. Love it and want to go back ASAP!
