Description

We invite you to stay in our lovely totally updated golf-front walk-out condo, right in the heart of the Devils Knob area of Wintergreen Resort. Relax in the private, cozy cottage feel of our condo while having easy access to resort amenities. The Wintergarden Spa and the Nature Foundation are just across the road; and the 18th tee to the Devil's Knob golf course is right outside the patio door. Curl up to the fireplace and enjoy the views of the beautiful fairway, with picturesque trees and shrubbery just outside the window; or hike right out to the many connecting trails.

The Great Room has a dining table with four chairs, a desk, sofa, coffee table, and two easy chairs, situated to take advantage of the views. The kitchen looks out over the great room so you can enjoy the company of your friends (and the view!) while cooking; and it is fully equipped for whatever you want to make! Small appliances included are microwave, coffee maker, toaster, toaster oven, mixer, blender, electric griddle, and crockpot. The refrigerator and range are full sized; a dishwasher and disposal, and washer and dryer, are also in the unit. Service for eight, pots and pans, storage containers and other kitchen incidentals are all provided.

A 42” flat screen TV is mounted on the outside wall with a swivel mount; and can be viewed from anywhere in the kitchen/great room area. We provide high speed internet service; the living room TV has a BlueRay player with internet channel access for watching shows from your Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus, and many other accounts; Netflix and SlingTV streaming are provided as a complimentary amenity.

The bedrooms each have their own bath, and are located on a private, separate hallway from the living area. The master bedroom has new furniture with a queen sized Sealy Posturepedic hybrid mattress. It also has two comfy chairs and a 32” flat screen TV and Blu-Ray player. The second bedroom is equipped with two twin beds and extra chairs that can be used in the dining area.

This unit is accessed by a small half-staircase which leads to a large private landing containing a bench and a locking closet for storing your outdoor accessories. The door is operated by keyless entry.

Getting around

Hiking is a great way to get around Wintergreen Resort, but if you are not a hiker, a car will also work! On winter weekends and holidays a shuttle bus stops just feet from my door and will take you to all the resort amenities in just a few minutes. There are limo/taxi services available if you wish to spend a day at the many wineries/breweries located just off the mountain.

Interaction with guest

I stay in touch with you by whatever way you wish, but text messages and email seem to be the preferred methods. I live in Nelson County and can be at the condo quickly if necessary, but I plan to leave you alone to enjoy the condo as if it were your own. I have an access keypad on the door, and will provide your personal code the morning of your arrival.

How do damage deposits work?
