Take in the splendor of Vermont’s mountains as you relax in the quiet comfort and privacy of our well-appointed guesthouse. Sweet Retreat is nestled in the heart of the Green Mountains, conveniently located five minutes from Norwich University, the oldest private military school in the country, fifteen minutes south of the capital city of Montpelier, forty-five minutes from Sugarbush, Bolton Valley, and Stowe resorts, and an hour from Burlington International Airport, and about 2.5 hours from Montreal and 2.75 hours from Boston.
You will find our spacious guesthouse equipped with everything you need to stay two days, a week, a month, or more! To get you started, we stock the guesthouse with breakfast fixings for your first morning meal. And, enjoy complimentary maple syrup from our sugarhouse during short-term stays. Food shopping is just six miles away.
