This stone-built period cottage is located in the peaceful village of Hunton, and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.1 Countryman Inn Cottages is a stone-built period cottage located in the peaceful village of Hunton, a short drive from the market town of Richmond. The cottage can sleep four people in two bedrooms which are a king-size double and a twin bedroom. There is also a bathroom, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside there is off road parking for two cars and a small patio area. 1 Countryman Inn Cottages is a wonderful holiday base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales and beyond.
Amenities: Oil central heating and woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, TV with Freeview, DVD, DAB radio/CD with Bluetooth speaker, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Small patio area with shared access with neighbouring property. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Nearest shop 5 minute drive and pub next door is for drinks only. Nearest Pub serving food is a mile and half away.

With Wensleydale and Swaledale easily accessible, this is an excellent place for walking enthusiasts, although the towns of Richmond and Middleham are within a 10-minute drive, as are the attractive market towns of Bedale and Leyburn. With a golf course less than a mile from Hunton itself, the area has something to suit all tastes. Other attractions include Fountains Abbey, the Beamish and Lightwater Valley as well as Constable Burton Hall Gardens - with extensive parkland and woodland walks â and the Forbidden Corner with its underground passages to explore.
