The Adventure Begins:

Trucha de La Montana (Trout Mountain) is a 3,200 sq ft, 3 bedroom, 3 bath home, situated on a luscious one acre trout farm with one large and two small rivers. The farm has the best tasting fresh caught trout in Costa Rica according to two local biologists. This home sits at an elevation of 6,500 ft above sea level (average temperature; 60F -75F). It boasts 3 fireplaces for those cozy, warm romantic evenings or days, 2 living rooms, and a generous 290 sq ft sunroom overlooking the property! Enjoy this home with your family and friends. Catch fresh trout and cook it immediately on the outside grill or in the oven for that perfect scrumptious gourmet inexpensive meal ($3.80 per pound!). Surround yourself with the fresh air in this mountainous area of Costa Rica. This home sits in the center of Barva Mountain and the Braulio Carrillo National Park. The owner/on-site manager is available to pick you up from the airport or your car rental office and effortlessly guide you “home”.

The home has a complimentary local lan line and USA phone in addition to DSL internet (6Mb up/1Mb down).

How do damage deposits work?

If Steve (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
