Description
Wavecrest is a special home-from-home. It is in a superb location overlooking Staffin Bay and its islands with views to the mainland - some 32 miles away. The sight of the Red Point lighthouse flashing across the sea on a starlit night is a never-to-be-forgotten memory of a dark skies holiday.
As well as peace and quiet, the accommodation is superbly furnished with: leather suite, fully-lined, matching curtains and cushions, duck-down quilts and feather pillows, all towels and linen, toiletries and cleaning materials provided. All of this comes at a good price and a welcome tray with fresh milk to help you relax on entry.

“A highly recommended cottage on Skye”
This cottage ticks all the boxes. Comfortable with beautiful views. Everything you would need is supplied. Perfect base for touring the island. Would we return, YES & YES again.

“Perfect cottage”
We had lovely holiday and very happy with clean cottage. Cottage is in perfect location !!! 7 min walk to seaside . Great place for stars and northern lights glaze .

“Superb hidden gem”
What a find!! Wavecrest had stunning views and we were in heaven. Fully kitted out and the welcoming tea, milk and shortbread was a sight for sore eyes. Dog friendly and the owner was communicative and accommodating. We’ll be back. So much to see and do on Syke and Raasay.

“Wavecrest cottage in Staffin”
A beautiful and well kept cottage. Clean and comfortable, with everything that you would need for a relaxing stay. It is situated in the north of Skye in a glorious location overlooking the sea with views to die for. Would highly recommend. A beautiful part of the island especially for exploring and wildlife.

“Comfortable home from home”
Lovely clean, spacious and comfortable cottage with everything we needed for our week in Skye. Great location with spectacular views over Staffin Bay. Close to Quiraing, Old Man Storr, Kilt Rock and easy to travel to all parts of Skye. First time visitors should note cottage itself is not signposted from the road-follow the sign for Boraig Cottages and you can’t go wrong. Would definitely stay here again.
