Recent description from one of our guests "The beds are so comfortable and it is so much more than the photos show; it is so nice to wake up in the mornings to sounds of birds chirping".

Only 3 miles to downtown, this 1930'S FOUR BEDROOM stone charm (spacious, 2600sqft, separate outdoor entries to first floor and second floor) in desirable historic neighborhood nestled in City Center. Perfect for reunions, corporate stay and to lodge guests for weddings. Restaurants, shops, Trinity University within walking distance. You can relax in this spacious 4 bedroom 2 bath property while you prepare for a meeting or enjoy a home cooked meal with family after your visit to a nearby farmers market. On days that you feel adventurous, because you are centrally located, you can explore quaint shops in the area not generally known to tourists. Nearby attractions also include the Quarry Market, Down Town, FIESTA (April), the River Walk, the Missions, the Alamo, Pearl Brewery and South Town/King Williams dist. Close highway access to visit SeaWorld, and Fiesta Texas.

NOTE: There is a total of 4 BEDROOMS (site system does not allow me to change the typo from 2 to 4 bedrooms). This space consists of a queen bed (sleeps 2) in back downstairs bedroom, a full bed (sleeps 2) in front downstairs bedroom; A king bed (sleeps 2) in the back Upstairs bedroom and 2 Full beds (sleeps 4) in the front Upstairs bedroom. There is also a sleeper sofa (sleeps 2) in the Downstairs living room and another sleeper sofa (sleeps 2) in the Upstairs living room. There are two stoves, the stove downstairs has a gas range and oven for use; the stove upstairs is an antique Tappan stove with a gas range for use (The oven is Not for use upstairs). What's great about this space is that it is composed of two separate apartments, one is upstairs and the other is downstairs. This allows your group to enjoy each other but also to have some space. THERE ARE NO INDOOR ENTRANCES BETWEEN THE UPSTAIRS AND THE DOWNSTAIRS. The entrances are outdoor for each apartment and there are no indoor entrances between floors/upstairs and downstairs. There is only one stove available for use on the property located in the downstairs unit. Note-BALCONY not included in price-No access.

IMPORTANT HOUSE RULES:

Absolutely No smoking and No pets. No parties and No loud music. Check-in at 5pm, CST. No check-out after 11 am, CST.

This is a charming old world place that comes with OLD PLUMBING so do NOT throw away any TOILET PAPER, feminine products or other in commode Nor FOOD/FOOD PARTICLES OR GREASE IN SINKS, please use trash bins.

Guests/renters must take SPECIAL CARE of upstairs bath tub as it has been re-surfaced for guest enjoyment. Guests can bathe and shower, however, must not use objects that may scratch or scrape the delicate surface. Guests must never use abrasive cleaners, bath mats (may use adhesive strips instead) or let soap or shampoo bottles stand on bathtub surface for longer periods than it takes to bathe/shower. Guests must not use dyes in bathtub or products that stain nor any chemicals or drain opening solutions.

No access/ use of backyard permitted other than to park, throw trash and recyclables in bins. Balcony not included in price - No access/ use of Balcony permitted.

Parking on site for 2 small-medium vehicles with the exception of instances when construction or restoration work is being done on property; street parking for larger vehicles.

The home is composed of an upstairs and downstairs units with separate outdoor entrances for each and no indoor entrances between upstairs and downstairs.

Property is privately owned; the owner/s are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on premises or its facilities. The Homeowner/s are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. Reservation/s obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of full payment and deposit and the party will not be allowed to check in. All damages to the property will be paid in full by renter/guest.

Getting around

Walking distance to Trinity University, only 3 miles to downtown/riverwalk, short drive to Zoo, Quarry Market, Pearl Brewery, Fort Sam and more. Easy highway access to 281 and IH-10 for travel to Sea World and Fiesta Texas. Because the property is close to the convention center and downtown, many of our guests do not rent a car, they take an Uber instead. However, if you will visit Fiesta Texas or Sea World, then a car is recommended.
