Description

A great view of the woods awaits you from the countryside kitchen window and off the back deck. The 2 bedroom house has a warm cozy feel and accommodates up to 6 people. It adjoins Meramec State Park boundary, with hiking trails, river access, fishing and floating. Commercial caves are nearby. Deer are frequently seen. There is no river access at the house.

The Master bedroom has a queen size bed. There's room for an additional 4 people in the 2nd bedroom which has a double bed and bunk beds. A propane grill and outside table and chairs are provided. The kitchen is equipped with stove, fridge, dishwasher, coffee pot, microwave, blender, toaster, small crock pot and a table for 6 people. Also provided are pots/pans, plates, glasses, silverware. Central heat, air conditioning and a wood stove for ambiance. The house is on well water. The water is not chlorinated. If this bothers you, bring bottled drinking water.

There is cell phone coverage with AT&T and probably Verizon. A landline provides local calls and 911 service. A smart TV will stream if you have an account and password. It gets an antennae signal also. You have access to the entire house and large yard. Campfire ring and camp chairs. You will not have access to the garage or 2 closets, those are for maintenance items.

The driveway will park 3 cars.

No pets. No smoking.

The best way to get around is by auto. The nearest car rental is in Washington, Mo. or at the St. Louis airport. There is a taxi in Sullivan. The nearest Amtrak train is in Washington, Mo. or Kirkwood, Mo. There is no bus service.

House rules

Please keep the campfire small, as there is no fire department in Miramiguoa Village! There are a few logs in the backyard for the campfire ring. No cutting of trees allowed. The firewood on the front porch is for the inside wood stove. Please wash the dishes and leave the beds unmade. Turn off the propane grill at the tank. Excessive use of firewood, or excessive messes will incur an additional charge.Thanks !
