Would you fancy waking up in the morning hearing the sound of the water flowing slowly in the river by the mill?

Welcome to Pontemanco, a pretty village in Due Carrare where you will find a quiet and a relaxing atmosphere as well as some amazing landscapes.

In a portion of a superb house in an elegant and quiet area facing an old mill by the canal, with a double room on the first floor and a private kitchen and a bathroom on the ground floor. Right by the Biancolino River in the old village of Pontemanco in Due Carrare we have rebuilt a house to offer our guests a unique place surrounded by silence and an atmosphere from the good old days. The house is part of an old mill on the Biancolino Canal near Padua and just 40 minutes away from Venice by car or train. It has been rebuilt for you to enjoy a lovely and restful stay in the middle of an old and quiet village.

The apartment has a double room with a king size bed, a double room with twin beds and a large bath with jacuzzi on the first floor. On the roof of the tower a kitchen fully equipped and a large terrace for your meals, and relax in summer time. We also provide guests with wi-fi access, air conditioning, television, dryer and a washing machine. As I live close by I will be happy to help in case of any need, but most of all I can suggest unique trips in the Veneto region, I can take you walking in the surroundings to explore the countryside, the Euganean Hills, the vineyards and so on ... If you prefer a break from cooking, just across the bridge there is a charming restaurant where guests can enjoy a glass of wine, cold appetizers and cheese or choose a pasta dish. Are you tired after traveling or exploring? We also provide different kind of massages (shiatsu, ayurveda, relaxing) in cooperation with a Spa.

I'm flexible for your check-in and adapt my hours to your arrival.

You can have a rest in the house, take part in a Yoga class, walk or run by the river, cycle through the paths that lead either to the sea or to the Euganean Hills. You can also take the train or your car to explore Venice in a 40 minutes ride, reach Padova in 15 minutes or other cities like Verona, Ferrara and Bologna. The old mill we have rebuilt is now a typical house by the river just 15 minutes drive from Padua and 40 minutes drive from Venice (tutto da togliere).  The railway station which connect the most important sights in the Veneto region is just a 10 minutes drive.

I'll give you a key on arrival, so please feel at home and come and go as you wish. There are no time restrictions in the mornings nor when you come back after an evening out.

Also there will be no problem with early arrival or departure nor late departures.

I live around the corner so I can spend time with my guests suggesting beautiful trips around Veneto region. I am a runner so I can tell you about amazing paths along the river to run or bike. Due Carrare has a dense network of cycling paths and roads that connect the major cities of the Veneto region. It is located in the middle of a lovely area for riding to the Euganean Hills and Chioggia.
