A Visit Scotland 4**** modern, elevated house with superb views over Loch Indaal, with comfortable well-appointed accommodation and excellent facilities, Ellister Lodge is situated on the 300-acre Easter Ellister estate on the Rinns of Islay, near the pretty seaside village of Port Charlotte.

Often called the Queen of the Hebrides, Islay is the most southerly of the Hebridean islands. Elllister Lodge is in a natural setting on the Rinns of Islay, it being a designated Special Protection Area with all kinds of wildlife.

1/3rd acre plot with extensive decking and (enclosed, safe) viewing and relaxing platforms. Fully insulated with full double glazing and new heat pump central heating. Fully accessible with access ramps, three sets of French windows and modern-width internal doorways. No smoking, please.

We let Friday-Friday in peak months; please ask about other dates. Please also ask about pets; we allow well-behaved dogs by arrangement.

“Perfect”

Ellister Lodge was the perfect base to explore Islay. Spacious, extremely well equipped with stunning views all the way to Rathlin Island and the Northern Ireland Coast. Well laid out accommodation with a plethora of information on the house and what to do and see on Islay.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ian (the owner) a message.

If Ian (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
