The East Wing at Lower Broom Farm is a purpose built annexe attached to the family home, and is completely self contained with its own front and back doors. We are situated in the quiet hamlet of Thomas Chapel a few minutes away from the village of Kilgetty with a Co-op Foodstore, chemist, hairdressers, Post Office, Fish and Chip shop, Chinese takeaway and an excellent Indian Restaurant, it also has two Public Houses, and is served by a train station, bus services and National Express stop . In addition there is a village stores with off licence, tobacco and Lottery a five minute walk down our lane. Saundersfoot , Wisemans Bridge and Amroth are less than 10 minutes drive away, Tenby just a little further. The popular Market town of Narberth is 5 miles north and the main trunk roads serving West Wales, the A40 and A477 are on the doorstep, making it the ideal base for touring Pembrokeshire and West Wales. There are public footpaths and bridle ways close by with access on to the Landsker Borderlands Trail and Miners Path, which is a nice circular walk passing the Begelly Arms public house. Folly Farm - West Wales most loved tourist attraction is just round the corner, our fields border some of the animal enclosures and with the wind in the right direction you can sometimes hear the lions roaring!

The property is tastefully decorated and is equipped with high quality fixtures and fittings to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Entrance Hall with Cloakroom off, leading to:

Through Lounge, with widescreen SMART 4K HD TV with Freesat Channels, DVD, X-Box360, a selection of childrens DVD's and books, and a selection of board games are available, two double sofas and an armchair, wood burning stove (free fuel available) stairs off to first floor (child safety gate available if required) and door through to Utility room with Washing Machine, Tumble Drier, iron and ironing board, First Aid Kit. Open plan through to fully equipped kitchen with ceramic range cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and fire safety equipment. Features a full range of Circulon Cookware. Open plan through to dining area with extending table and six chairs, CD stereo with Bluetooth connectivity to play music from your smartphone or MP3. There is free superfast fibre broadband WiFi available throughout the property and in the garden. There are six mains USB sockets for charging your mobile devices around the house, and ethernet port connection for laptops.

At the top of the stairs is a "no trip" stair gate, the main front facing bedroom has a king size bed, full height mirrored wardrobes with ample storage space, dressing table with Hair Drier provided, Smart HD TV with Internet, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Freesat Channels, armchair, en-suite with Thermostatically controlled shower, corner bath with shower attachment.

Bedroom 2 is a comfortable double room with lovely views to the gardens and fields and the rear of the property, Smart HD TV with Internet, Amazon Prime, Netflix, Freesat Channels, Hair Drier provided. En-suite having full sized shower enclosure with electric shower.

Bedroom 3 has full sized metal bunk beds, ideal for the kids, OR will accommodate an adult on the bottom bunk, this bedroom has a LCD TV with DVD and Freeview. Please note that occupiers of this room would have to use one of the en suites in the main bedrooms, but there is the toilet downstairs.

Separate Cot room with full sized wooden cot, storage space.

All bed-linen and towels are provided, please note all duvets are "All season" and can be made up for 4.5, 9 or 13.5 tog according to the season.

Outside there is ample safe parking, a few steps from the back door takes you into the sunny garden with spacious decking area with sun canopy, six seater table chairs, where you can relax with a drink or alfresco meal catching the sun going down. There is a nice clean full sized Barbeque for your use, just provide your own charcoal.

There is secure storage facilities for bicycles, and carport for motorcycles.

EV Charger (charge applies)

There are mains powered smoke alarms on both floors, double glazing throughout and a combination oil fired boiler providing constant hot water.

This is a NON SMOKING and VAPING property and we are sorry but NO PETS ALLOWED due to chickens, sheep and ponies on the land.

Getting around

Own car is really essential, however there is a bus stop at the end of the road, and a local train station in Kilgetty within walking distance. There is also a National Express coach stop in Kilgetty too.

Interaction with guest

We live in the main Farmhouse adjoining The East Wing and will usually be around to greet you on your arrival. The owner is often outside during the day, tending the grounds and animals and you are welcome to catch me at anytime with any questions or to ask for local recommendations of where to visit or eat. There is a comprehensive information folder with lots of useful local information and guides on where to visit. We want to respect your privacy during your stay but please do not hesitate to talk to us at any time should a need arise.
