A uniquely beautiful artists cottage in a quiet and private setting.

Made of Straw bale and earth plaster construction, hand made glass, lighting, furniture and original art. Access to our organic green houses and vegetable gardens are included.

Set within 135 acres that include Extraordinary views of Mesa Verde and the Southwest, hiking and mountain biking trails on premise, and a swimming pond when in season.

Also on premise are numerous Anasazi Ruin sites to explore and understand, an out door gas grill and campfire ring and a small acacia along the side of the cottage that adds the sound of running water to the setting.

Response from the owner Galin and Alicia are kind of worldly and intelligent guests that make opening one's place to others worth it in every way. Getting to know them was- and hopefully will continue to be a- a great pleasure. And sorry about putting the eggs in the butternut /red chili soup to try to thicken it. It seemed like a good idea at the time. I guess one should only experiment on ones family.
