Description

Welcome to the Sideways House, named for its gracious entrance located on the side of the home, and a nod to the iconic movie that put wine tasting on the map. This stately home was built in 1926 and is perfectly located on one of "old" Lodi's most desirable tree-lined streets walking distance to tasting rooms, restaurants, theaters, parks and downtown.

This gorgeous home has been recently redecorated and lovingly brought back to her original grandeur. There is a large living room with beautiful, original molding, hardwood floors and grand windows. Ample comfortable seating is provided and a flatscreen TV, and fireplace will help you feel right at home. The living room opens up into a fun bar area that also provides access to the outside eating area. The beautiful, large dining room seats 8. The kitchen is well equipped with new appliances. A cute, sunny kitchen eating area welcomes you in and offers a wonderful view of the large yard, fish pond and bocce court.

There are four beautifully appointed bedrooms which accommodate up to eight guests. Fine linens, down comforters (Non down bedding may be requested), robes and comfortable beds await you. Each bedroom has a television, IHome alarm clock, luggage rack and at least two windows in each bedroom to let in the cool breeze or warm sunshine.

There are two well appointed bathrooms with plenty of towels and other comforts to make your stay perfect. The upstairs bathroom has a bath and shower, granite counter tops and glass tile accents. The downstairs bathroom has a huge shower with bench, a rain shower faucet and other faucet features,

A washer and dryer are available along with laundry pods.

The backyard is park like and tranquil with an outside eating area with BBQ and bocce court, beautiful landscaping and a fish pond. The backyard has private access to Perfect Balance Day Spa's Hideaway for all your pampering needs. Spa packages are available.
