Description

This is the perfect rural setting for exploring the North York Moors, the Yorkshire Heritage Coast and the historic city of York.

This pretty stone built cottage, comprising of 1 double and 1 twin bedroom with cot, is able to sleep 4 persons, and benefits from full central heating & bath with overhead shower.

It also has a fully fitted and well equipped kitchen diner and a generous sized, comfortable living room, with spectacular views over fields towards the Howardian Hills - an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Children are welcome and all linen and fuel is included in the price.

We are Covid safe and the property is fully sanitised and all bedding is taken out of use and exchanged between bookings

Getting around

A car is essential to enjoy our wonderful surroundings but we are also surrounded by beautiful countryside with many well marked walks and bike routes. We can also arrange Pick up and Drop off as well local trips out from the cottage if you prefer. There is a regular bus and train service from Malton with a full intercity service to the rest of the UK from York, collection from rail station or airports by arrangement.

Interaction with guest

We will be at the cottage to welcome you and show you around the facilities following social distancing and although we respect your privacy we live on site and are always available to give you any local information and recommendations or assistance you ask for. We also supply a small welcome pack of the basic essentials so you can enjoy a cup of tea or coffee on your arrival.

“Peace and comfort”

Simply beautiful cottage inside and out The circumstances of our visit were very sad. Tom and Anne were so warm and caring. So quiet and peaceful, just what we needed.

“Seriously Fabulous a must go to.”

Anne andTom are the most fabulous hosts. Nothing was ever to much for them. The cottage is beautiful and has every thing you could possibly need. Very. Spacious rooms, a sunny court yard garden , looking over horses in the paddock and cows beyond. Really didn’t want to leave.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Tom & Anne (the owner) a message.

If Tom & Anne (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
