We prefer a 2 week to 2 month rental during MAR/APR and would like to communicate first and know exact dates.

HOUSE DESCRIPTION:

Note: The pinpoint on the map is not accurate. Flip key is trying to resolve this. We are 5 houses in from the beach on Calle 50.

5 houses down from the BEACH access.

Less than 1 mile from downtown. A nice beach road walk. Great SAFE neighborhood!

2 Story House with 3rd floor look-out deck

"Old" Mexican style. Hand Painted tile etc.

2 BEDROOMS, 2 BATHROOMS. Huge KITCHEN-Fully equipped! Round Table-seats 5 and Island seating.

Large PRIVATE BACK YARD full of Palms and flowers. Covered PATIO with bar, table etc.

Powerful ceiling fans- (No A/C ) throughout the house and extra floor fans if needed.

LAUNDRY-Can drop off -1 1/2 blocks away-Same day pick up.

BUS on that corner goes downtown every 5-8 min.

WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT MY HOME and being our guest?:.

I started going to Progreso in 1976 with my (ex)husband, a college professor. We would bring groups of students to study in Yucatan and live in a local Progreso neighborhood. That is where I bought my house in 2005. It is next door to the family I have known for many years and who helped us with the student groups. As a renter, you can benefit from my long-term connections there. You will enter a neighborhood that is safe, inviting and has a helpful neighborly feeling, without being intrusive. When Robin’s renters come there, they are treated like they are very special. And they are! If you don’t know Spanish-no problem! They are used to that and will understand your needs. If you want to learn Spanish-this is a PERFECT place to do it.
