Are you looking for the absolute perfect condo for your once in a lifetime vacation to Kauai? Do you want breath taking views from almost every room? Do you want to be within walking distance to multiple beaches? How about be close to shops and dining? Do you want luxury amenities at a reasonable price? Well look no further as you have found Heaven on Earth at Pu’u Po’a 313.

Almost every room has a view of the ocean but unlike most other Pu’u Po’a units, ours is not just a view of the wide span of the big blue – we sit closer to the edge of the cliff and can watch the waves crashing against the cliff and reefs below. We can see the patterns of the reefs below and the multiple shades of green and blue in the water. And if we look hard enough, we can find a sea turtle or two. In the winter, it’s perfect for whale watching. And if one of the North Shore rain showers happens to bring you inside, you can still feel like you are right on the beach watching all the waves go by….

We are within walking distance to two beaches! Walk along the west side of the Pu’u Po’a property and you will find a hiking trail that takes you to one of the most sought after beaches on the island, Kaweonui Beach also known as Hideaways. The trail is steep and difficult (locals have put a rope there to hold onto!) but once you are down, you will find pristine water with some of the greatest snorkeling ever! The beach has plenty of natural shade and could arguably be one of the best spots to watch the sunset – just be sure to hike back up before it gets too dark!

In addition to Hideaways, Pu’u Po’a beach is a 10 minute walk along a path on the east side of St Regis. This is where the locals go to swim out to reach the biggest surfing waves. This beach offers snorkeling, surfing and lots of sun bathing. There is even a pool side pub at One Hotel, Nalu Kai Grill and Bar, to enjoy food and drink.

Why choose our condo over all the others?

1) The Ocean Views. Our unit is an end unit so we have extra windows in the kitchen that most others don’t have and again because of our location, ours is not your ordinary ocean view. We watch the waves crash against the cliff and reefs.

2)The Sounds. We wanted a place where we could not only see the ocean but hear it and smell it too. Our unit is in the only building situated so the trade winds perfectly flow through and we can keep our windows open to hear the gentle roar of the magnificent ocean all day and all night.

3)The Stars. In May, the milky way sits right above our unit and the brilliance of the stars is astounding in the middle of the pacific. One of our favorite things in the world to do is to sit out on the lanai and count how many falling stars we can see. Our unit is on the other end of the complex from the pool which some may find that a drawback however we found the noise and the lights from the pool too disruptive for our star gazing and the pool is still just a short walk away.

4)The Sunsets. People from all over Princeville come to the sunset viewing spot directly next to our building. Simply walk out the door and go around the building and you have front row seating to the brilliant sunsets of Kauai.

5) The Art. We have decorated our home with art from local artists bringing out the beauty and uniqueness of the island of Kauai. Our home is designed for elegant casual living with the cultural flare of eco friendly bamboo furniture, mother of pearl mirrors, Kauai carved paddles and replicas of traditional Hawaiian canoes.

6) The Touches of Home. Our vacations are our greatest memories and we want the same for you. We’ve added all the conveniences from home and more. After a hard days’ play, you need some good rest so our bedrooms have high quality king sized mattresses with 400 count linens to help you sleep well and be ready for the next day!

The bathrooms have luxury plush bath towels, large beach towels and plenty of places to hang your suits to dry. We offer hair dryers and curling irons in each one as well.

Our full kitchen is stocked with things you won’t find in most other vacation rentals like a spice rack, a crock pot and a waffle maker too.

Although we have free wifi, cable TV, a bose stereo and phone, we also offer something that most homes don’t have – the opportunity to reconnect with one another. We truly hope instead of electronics you will find

entertainment looking out the atrium windows and at the stars and at the sunsets together. And if not, we’ve filled a cupboard full of family games to bring back the conversations and the laughs that are meant to be.

We’ve also made our best effort to give you a few the things you might want to enjoy the activities and adventures waiting for you here on Kauai. The lanai features a closet full of beach gear like boogie boards, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach mats, and a cooler. We even have tennis rackets and balls for you to use at the onsite tennis courts.

Getting around

Kauai is beautiful island that has one major road that can take you from the North side of the island to the West Side of the island. The other 4th of the island is only accessible by boat or helicopter. There are not a lot of transportation options and so a rental car is highly recommended. As of the summer of 2019, a new shuttle system has begun from the nearby Makai golf course to the end of the road to the North, ending at Haena State Park. The drop off/pick up location is only a mile up the road from the condo. There is limited parking for a fee of $15 so it is recommended you walk. The shuttle system also requires reservations at least 2 weeks ahead of time and costs $11 round trip/person.

“Great view great location”

Great room, great location, great communication from rental service. Would recommend anyone to stay here. Not much in walking distance but easy to get anywhere in a car.
