Description
Megan is a lovely comfortable Shepherds Hut near Bala.
It stands in a lovely spot overlooking the Dee Valley with car parking right next to the Hut.
Heating is from a tiny but efficient radiator which the occupants can control from the hut.
Dining table for two inside the hut with two fold away chairs if you want a little more room.
Facilities on site comprise sole use of a good shower and toilet block .
Our guests in Megan also have a separate camp kitchen with all facilities including pots pans and utensils and a comfortable table if you wish to eat in the kitchen itself.
Outside a table and chairs offer alfresco dining overlooking the lovely valley.
Up to two dogs allowed on leads whilst on site.
Dog walking in 900 hectares of forest directly from site.

“Not impressed”
Very poor comms from the owner, right from the start. Totally ignored any requests for information. Pictures on this site and are out of date and there is a gated, lawned area to sit and for dogs. It … More

Response from the owner Although late in responding I left it at the time as I really could not comment. I am sure those of you who read other reviews on this Shepherds Hut will understand that sometimes it is best for an owner not to respond. However I can say that the Hut is as described and I cannot help the distance to the kitchen and toilet. It is all of twenty paces which may of course be too far if you feel that is too far to walk. Suggest if this is so then you book elsewhere.
