Description
Aspen Acres(license # 3247) is a true log cabin on a private road and is conveniently located within one mile of town and the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. This home has been updated and has freshly finished hardwood floors yet the vintage charm remains and is only enhanced by the addition of modern amenities. You will love sitting on the covered front porch and watching the local wildlife that like to drink and bathe in the spring fed pond in the field of this almost 3 acre property. There are views from every window of this serene mountain cabin.
Many of the accessories are vintage, handmade or one of a kind. There are 2 bedrooms with queen beds, a third bedroom with a single bed and space for another 18 inch optional air bed, an upper office nook, and a queen sofa bed in the living room. There is ample parking and room to roam. We have TV's in all bedrooms and the living room. There is cable in the living room and master and smart tv's upstairs where you can access various online viewing options. We also have books, puzzles, movies and games for use indoors and out. There is a fire pit. We turned the 2 car garage into a party room so it is ready for your outdoor cooking and contains many outdoor games. We store the grill and extra seating in there so they are protected from the weather but still accessible to guests.Sunset is a great time to see wildlife and enjoy the changing colors. Great for a romantic get away or a family vacation. There is a fully stocked kitchen and we provide condiments, coffee, shampoo, laundry soap,etc. We want loyal customers who will return again and again and feel like this is their home away from home.
The main floor has a bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath and the other two bedrooms, office nook and three quarter bath are upstairs. There is a baby gate at the top of the stairs for safety.
The living and dining rooms are across the front of the cabin with four large picture windows from which to view the beautiful surroundings. The dining room trestle table will seat up to 8, with 6 chairs and a bench. The living room has a 50 inch TV, queen sofa sleeper, leather recliner, glider rocking chairs and a padded ottoman that holds all the sofa sleeper bedding and can also be used for seating.
Guests have commented that they love the rustic charm and appreciate the modern amenities.
