Located in Sandy Bay, Roatan, Honduras, this beach front home offers 180 degree views of the Caribbean from the front decks. The crystal clear blue water is steps from your front door. Snorkel or dive world class sites on your backyard reef, or visit 30+ dive sites within a 15 minutes boat ride.

North West Roatan offers calm seas, long beaches and easy access to dolphin swims, golf, horseback riding, diving, snorkeling, zip lining, kayaking, paddle boarding, restaurants, shopping and much more with a distinct small town, friendly feel to it. Come, relax and enjoy the beautiful vistas on land and under water.

The house has 5 beds, including an additional secluded bedroom on the ground floor with its own bathroom and entrance. Each bedroom has it's own tv and wifi.

Well appointed, modern chef kitchen with hardwood floors and cabinets, granite counter tops and gourmet stove. All the comforts of home.

We have made special deal arrangements with dive shops available for our renters. We can help with the rental of our 7 passenger minivan. Handy to use for shopping, restaurants and many other aspects of enjoying island life. When you arrive on the island, you'll be greeted by our on-island vacation rental manager who is a great resource for any questions or needs and is also available for any maintenance issues that might arise.

We bought this home when we fell in love with Roatan, and know you will feel right at home there, too. Feel free to email or call with any questions, and we'll answer or get back to you right away.

We require an electricity deposit of $750 that can be paid via our PayPal Account once the space has been booked. This is to cover electricity costs at the rate of $.50/kwh used during your stay which are not included. Electricity can be as low as $40/wk or as high as $250/wk depending on usage of electricity. To keep the costs down, turn things off (especially AC) when not in use or leaving the home.

Please note that if you book via American Express, we will pass their fee through to you, approximately 3%, deducted from your deposit refund.

Getting around

We recommend that you rent a car (such as our 7 passenger mini van at the house), but cabs are available all over the island for transport to points of interest, shopping, etc.

We will be in contact after you book and send you much more information. We will also be available via phone to answer any pre-trip questions. Gary Evans is our on island manager who lives nearby. He will meet you at the house to show you around, give you the keys and answer questions. We, the owners and our manager will be available via Whats App/text/email to assist during your stay.

What you said is accurate, the immediate area is not tourist mecca, the dive shops and shopping are a few minutes drive away but don't impact our neighborhood. The house is situated on a reasonably quiet beachfront with local residents playing soccer after school and local restaurants nearby. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and the island culture and people, we enjoy that as well. You were great guests, come back and visit again if you can.

How do damage deposits work?

If Gloria or Tom (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
